U can take Air France shuttle (even if u don’t fly Air France!) to Gare de Lyon (cost ca.Eur8) and then go walking for 10mns or take the subway (metro) number 14 direction Olympiades and get there within 2 minutes.

Take the RER B until Châtelet station, then take the line 14 direction Olympiades for 2 stations and there you are : Bercy station =)

My recollection is that steel expands about one part per million per degree F.
So say winter to summer is a 60 F change, the tower will lengthen by 60 ppm
THe shrinkage summer to winter will be the same amount, or else the thing would gradually grow or shrink away.

You don't! You just go and get in line like everybody else! True story: last year I proposed to my fiancee under the Eiffel Tower. Yep, all the way from NYC with that diamond ring hidden in my pocket. Did you know that it is the most often-used proposal spot in the world? Cool.

You could take the Metro, but I would just walk.

If you really want to take the train, then I would take RER C to Invalides. Change to Metro ligne 13 direction Les Courtilles or St. Denis Universite. Go one stop to Champs Elysees Clemenceau. Change to Metro ligne 1 direction Chateau de Vincennes. Get off at Palais Royal Musee du Louvre (the 3rd stop) or at Louvre Rivoli (the 4th stop).

if you see the Eiffel tower, the nearest train station is
CHAMP-DE MARS / BIRHAKEIM (ligne 6) or TROCADERO (Ligne 6)
for going to Le Musée du Louvre,
from TROCADERO take the line 9 direction PONT DE LEVALLOIS until CHARLES DE GAULLES ETOILE and change for line 1 direction CHATEAU DE VINCENNES – go down in MUSEE DU LOUVRES
from CHAMPS DE MARS you will have much more changes…

Between 29th July & 12th August, Ryanair have flights from Paris Beauvais Airport (BVA) to Orio al Serio Airport (aka Milan Bergamo- BGY) for 12.00€.
